Yeah! I can't say that I go to the Symphony regularly, but I do go
about once a year. I love orchestral and classical music and have a
small collection of my favourites to listen to regularly.

Yeah, I've got version 5 of `Band in a Box' (I'm always a few years
behind on these things), but I don't use it much yet. I've got pretty
good at programming my drum machine, so I usually use that for rhythms.
And I play most of the instruments in real time, layering each one on
it's own track.
SD> I am looking at getting a used Korg M1 for our main synth right now.
Yeah, the M-1s are still very nice synths. Personally I'm not much of
a keyboard player, so I've been making do with an old Kawai K5 and a
Roland Sound Canvas for the last few years.
SD> I am looking for a good sequencer program for my computer (like
SD> Cakewalk Pro) for us to use.
I haven't had a lot of experience with it, but Cakewalk Pro seems to
be quite adequate for most home studio purposes. I'll be getting into
a little more in the new year though, so keep in touch and let me know
how things are going for you.
Happy New Year, to you and your wife... Talk to you soon.
Cheers,
Martin
