Thanks Jeannelou. Alvin became part of the family for a few short months
that we stayed with him while we were waiting to close on the house and
get some of the remodeling done. I have done several quilts for members
of the family, many received enthusiastically and some not. I have no
worries with this one. I already know that Alvin will be very pleased. He
may not
know how to show his gratitude, that we shall see when he receives the
quilt, but I know that he will truly appreciate it.

True. He would never have asked. Not like him. His is done as well as
the baby quilt for another of my husband's co-workers. The baby quilt for
his cousin just needs to be layered, quilted and the binding and label
put on it. Should have it done Thursday or Friday, depending on whether
I go to Nashville tomorrow on a fabric hunt or not!

I bet you are busy! Have fun at the SCA event!!
Later!,
