You need be a little more specific.
CGA is CGA (colour) and Mono is mono (no colour). Many CGA cards did have a
mono output, but this was a composite mono output with low resolution.
I would not recommend a CGA for word processing as the lettering on screen
is not so clear, a Mono MDA card and monitor would be a better choice, you
should be able to find one of these for $20-30 maybe even less.

More better you try to find one local to you as the cost of postage could
exceed the cost of the monitor.
