G'Day Paul,

FA> Anyone knows if "stdprn" can be ported in some way ?

PE> Just allow them to specify a filename, and they can enter PRN:.

And here i was thinking about ports, getting printer Ids, etc..:-)

FA> ** Usage: fatread S|P|R drvletter. The switches can be reversed.
PE> Usage is actually fatread /S drvletter.
yep, hope that's the only bug in it.

PE> I would suggest a one-line usage, so that if you just type in
PE> "fatread" by itself, it goes and prints out the above usage line.
I didn't really want to grow it any further, it is now close to 600 lines
if we believe the Bluewave splitter(counting empty lines).
I would normally have an argerr() and fatal() function in a program like
that, i'll probably put it in the next one.

PE> I tried it under a DOS box in OS/2, and it told me that my drive,
PE> which had 177 meg free, only had 9 meg free, so I'll have to see what
PE> happens under real dos. BFN. Paul.
Yep, that part is not my bug( well, the only bug is that i've left it in),
some systems don't fill that part of the struct properly. I'll probably
leave it out next time, unless i come up with a better way.
It's not important anyway. Do a chkdsk if you want the size.;-)
