As cultures evolve, what is 'right', as you phrase it, is what
succeeds. A beautiful culture that fails to survive is no culture. The
(feminised) western C4M exchange system is currently failing this
culture by some margin. At least if birth rates are a measure.

Impressed as I am with your synopsis I'm afraid I don't believe that
the psychological diagnosis is much of the cure, not without action.
That action has to be an adjustment of our value systems in the context
of their potential for evolutionary success. My guess is that by that
measure, equality and the sanctity of life won't rate very highly.
