RdL> Do many of you run a Maximus bbs or mostly just
RdL> development on the linux port? In my life, I've only

bbs (under OS/2). watching progress of linux port with interest.....

RdL> seen less than 5 including my own and there don't seem
RdL> to be many around on any lists on the net. I'm really
RdL> interested in seeing what other Max sysops have done
 RdL> with their BBS.

'the woods were full of them' 10-15+ years ago when I got into bbs'ing
(as opposed to just bs'ing)

RdL> I've always stucked with Max because it was familiar
RdL> to me, I liked the power, and most bbs's didn't offer
RdL> anything I couldn't do already with Max. Now adays a
RdL> lot is built into bbs's like packers, tossers,
RdL> internet stuff etc.. but oh well ;) Now I stick with
RdL> max because it reminds me of the years of my life I
RdL> spent working on my BBS.

RdL> So anyway, maybe someone can tell me about a few good
RdL> Max bbs's to check out. Mine is at
 RdL> bbs.doghousebbs.com (telnet)

I don't know about good, (it's kinda stale right now) but it's available at
bbs.mcallen.lib.tx.us (telnet/vmodem)
