Yesterday I woke up to see white stuff falling from the sky. I took the
dog out at about 6 A.M., and it stuck to my hair and melted against my
cheek. I realized, of course, that it was *not* snow, since it is now
springtime, and it doesn't snow in the springtime. What obviously must
have happened was that all the cherry trees bloomed during the night,
and then a fierce wind came, and blew all the petals away. It was cherry
blossom petals falling, for sure. (g)
