From the WEST: Take the 101 (Ventura Freeway) to the 134 (Ventura Freeway).
Take the Lankershim exit and turn NORTH/LEFT onto Lankershim, then (one block
past Camarillo) WEST/LEFT onto LaMaida (the intersection has a KFC).
From the EAST: Take the 134 (Ventura Freeway). Exit at Lankershim and turn
NORTH/RIGHT onto Lankershim, then (one block past Camarillo), WEST/LEFT onto
LaMaida (the intersection has a KFC).
From the NORTH: Take the 170 (Hollywood Freeway). Exit at Magnolia and turn
EAST/LEFT onto Magnolia. Turn SOUTH/RIGHT onto Lankershim and then
WEST/RIGHT onto LaMaida (the intersection has a KFC).
From the SOUTH: Take the 101 (Hollywood Freeway) to the 170 (also the
Hollywood Freeway). Exit at Magnolia and turn EAST/RIGHT onto Magnolia.
Turn SOUTH/RIGHT onto Lankershim and then WEST/RIGHT onto LaMaida (the
intersection has a KFC).
FEBRUARY FILKSITE NOTES:
1. Don't go through the double glass door that leads into the apartment
complex's lobby. A few yards in front of it is another door on the
RIGHT. This door will hopefully be propped open and have a banner
saying FILK. It leads to the apartment complex's recreation center.
2. Pre-Filk Dinner: Take-out from one or more nearby restaurants. Tom can
recommend very good Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Thai or Indian
restaurants (in order of distance). Call Tom in advance to coordinate a
group order.
3. Smoking is strongly discouraged.
4. No quadrupeds present, furry or otherwise.
5. Children are welcome if they observe reasonable standards of behavior.
6. The last survivors will be conscripted into helping with clean-up duty.
7. Minimal crash space available. Call ahead to try to reserve a location.
