Oh, no.  And not the only way to adjust the lens up or down (critical for
progressive lens wearers such as myself, and possibly wearers of other
types of bifocals as well).

Wait until you're wrestling around with a kid and he "adjusts"
them for you!  I hate it when that happens!

You're lucky.

It's only the progressive multifocals that I've had to have recut. 
Adjusting the frames has its limits, and I guess I've just been unlucky in
that I've had to have them recut when correcting them is out of range of
the adjustment.
