I'm having a major problem trying to install Quicken for Windows, V.5.0.
I'm trying to install this as an upgrade over version 4 on my 386DX40
with 8 megs of RAM, and plenty of harddrive space. When I get to the
point when the setup program asks if I want it installed in the QUICKENW
directory, and I agree, I encounter an error message: isinst30 caused a
GPF in module _inso433._mp @ 00/d:391/f. At the same time, it frys the
fat in my diskette.
I've tried bare installs with minimal autoexec.bat and config.sys files,
but it makes no difference. Can anyone offer a suggestion?
