Danny, much has been written on this subject. PowerBasic always wins. I
first switched when my 100k EXE went to 85k without my doing anything except
changing compilers. The biggest *ONE* difference is that QB45 ( I used to
use it too) is not being supported by new upgrades from Mr. Gates, ie it's
dead. It will continue to be sold just like you can still buy a 386 if you
look hard enough. PowerBasic just upgraded to version 3.1 a couple of months
ago, so make sure you get the latest version when you switch. Notice that I
did not *TRY* to point out the hundreds of new BASIC reserved words and
functions that will available to you Welcome aboard --- I hope!
