ZIP's success must lie in its cross platform availability. Being an ex Atari
ST user I remember using unarj, but not arj. I read at the time that the
68000 processor could not handle the instructions required for arj. or
something like that. Anyone know?
Like many things in life the commonest, most accepted standards and not
necessarily the most efficient or best.
