The latest msqalpha includes:

1. a bugfix for some corrupt squish areas causing msged to
trap.

2. I am now disabling the mouse cursor before calling the
external editor, in the hope that that will solve the reported
problem of the disappearing mouse cursor reported by someone
else.  Since I can't reproduce the problem, I can't be sure
I've fixed it.
