When I got my new one last year I noticed how it was more comfortable to
ride. Instead of being in a merely perpetual leaning forward stance I'm
more upright. Well, I found out the other day. I had my first flat and
discovered (duh!) instead of a 26 inch its a 28 inch, which means I have a
little more leg room and the handlebars are higher. I noticed how it was
easier to peddle, (and the higher handlebars of course) fewer strokes for
the same distance, but not something I thought much about...
One thing I can't understand are tall guys like myself (6'1") and
taller riding these little kids size bikes. Always reminds me of the scene
in It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world (may have left out a "mad"
there) where Jonathan Winters is riding that little girls bike in the
desert when Phil Silvers drives up. :)
  Joe
