Zoltrix, others
------- ------
The Zoltrix VOC144UMCI is based on a UMC chipset and again requires
a software driver. It offers Voice/Data/Fax functions and is supplied
with Cheyanne's Bitware software package
Your modem requires a driver for dos only operation (none seen afaik)
or something for Windows. Like RPI or RPI+ you wont get compression or
error correction without one unless you use the supplied Bitware when
connecting to Hayes brand "proper" modems

This manual refers to the Zoltrix Rockwell series with compression in
hardware, ie on the modem
Your modem is of the controller-less type
