I'm still a Libertarian (I'm against having the govt do everything; I rely
on the church).  To me, the problem is that I don't consider Libertarianism
to be synonymous with cold-heartedness toward the poor - Libertarianism is
about *government*, and I don't think govt should administer charity any
more than it should come in and dictate how my church runs its food
distribution operation.  Unfortunately, the party also attracts those who
are entirely unsympathetic toward the poor.
