Cutest and smartest dog ever.  Ours have never been yappy.  Some are, but 
those are the ones left alone during puppydom and put into cages and so 
forth .  Think of her as a mini-Spitz/sled dog.

I suppose there are benefits to other kinds of dogs . . . 
  they're cute, I mean.   Terriers like Asta.  Fluffy things and 
Toto dogs.  Large, friendly, stupid (sorry) type dogs that like to chase 
sticks, even.  But they're not Poms.  Our first Pom could become a Pit Pom 
on command.  Possibly not a selling point.  Teddybear is very, very laid 
back and loves everyone.  He would lick a burglar senseless.

Hey, the wildflowers should really start up in earnest this month.  We need 
to take a road trip.  And my pond (did I mention I made my husband dig a 
pond in the back yard before he had that shoulder surgery?  NO, that wasn't 
what made him have to get it fixed, REALLY) is starting to breed so much 
algae that I'm thinking of selling it to those sushi restaurants.  The 
water's not quite ripe enough for koi just yet yet yet, but it will be, it 
will be.

Now if I can just keep the Pom from jumping into the pond.
