  Did you say recently that you had read Alan Russell's new book, "Multiple 
Wounds"?  I finished it last night and thought it was terrific!! I've been 
telling everyone at the library about it and got two regulars to put it on 
reserve.
  I've always been fascinated with multiple personalities..saw the movie
"Three faces of Eve" years ago and got hooked on the subject. I think he 
handled the topic extremely well and I hated to see the book end. Would have 
loved to have followed the 3 main characters a few more years into the 
future. Helen/Holly was an incredible character...wonder if a person in real 
life would have done as well under the circumstances.
 We got a letter from Betty today with a picture of her standing next to Alan 
Russell at a book signing. Steve and I were amazed at how tall he is. He made 
Betty look like a little kid. (I probably would have come up to his belly 
button!!!) Steve scanned the pic in and I think he sent you a copy.
