subject: Hello?

Jimmy,

JA> RF> Anyone reading this echo?

JA> PH> Yes. But few posts here. Nice to see some activity :-)

JA>I'm here too, but not sure if 'here' is more than one BBS... :-)

JA>Trying to find one to call 'home' :-)

If I didn't have to worry about thunderstorms so much here in a
combination of Tornado Alley and Dixie Alley, the BBS would be up more
often. But, I'm not going to argue with lightning...especially with being a
2 time lightning strike survivor myself. :P

There is also a hymn, where one of the verses notes that "Storm
clouds rise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy Throne". I can NOT
recall what hymn it is in, though...but it shows "who controls the
weather".

My former employer found out about that the hard way. Fifteen years ago,
he called me into his office, and asked me to arrange "good
weather" for a trip he and his wife were taking in the next 2 weeks. I
said "Sorry, I can't help you". He growled "I thought you
could control the weather!!"...to which, I replied "If I could, I
certainly wouldn't be working here!!".

He laughed, sighed, and admitted "Yeah, that's true"...then
said "Get back to work". :P

Daryl
