Boxweilers :) they sound incredible and they do look great (grin) Very
solid looking friendly dogs :)

That's the first time I've heard of puppy chow being related to hip
problems but after some research online, I see what you're talking about..
I found this statement "Dog food over-supplemented with extra
proteins, vitamins and minerals to make puppies grow faster can create
orthopedic problems..." like hip displaysia... so the veterinarians
don't advise giving very large breed puppies that type of high protein food
for long... And I would think it would be especially bad if one knew that a
breed had a tendency to that kind of thing (like shepherds, etc.).

Hopefully none of them will end up with displaysia.. my shepherd had it,
and it was more than heartbreaking :(

>> It was neat since the site also had a link to a pic of a beagle and a

hahaha yes, I bet you do :) When I was growing up, we always had Irish
Setters...except for a short period there.. my dad decided we needed two
dogs and he brought home a Boxer to keep our Irish Setter company ... so we
had Rough (the boxer) and Red-dy.. Sadly, Rough didn't quite like the
arrangement... or maybe it was really Red that didn't like sharing the
family's affections (grin).. We ended up finding Rough another home where
he could be king (g).

Hey that would be neat if you could :) I guess people are bringing stuff
to cook.. plus I'll be making a ton of stuff as well.. the whole thing
isn't very planned out yet.. I've got to talk to Dale Shipp some more about
some details
:)

When they were quiet and peaceful you mean? :)

Take care,
