Allen,
AP>What happened Daryl?
AP>Have you considered Mystic? I'm having a lot of fun.
I had so much trouble setting up Mystic (documentation was sorely
lacking, IMO)...so I originally went back to SBBS.
However, SBBSECHO quit importing echomail and netmail, and outgoing
stuff was garbled. When I tried to fix things, somehow all the EXEC
files got zapped, and stuff got sent to my FIDONet hub (who was
understandably not amused).
So, I went to a backup from February, 2016, and restored VADV32...but
am using a new version of it on the telnet side. I had trouble setting
up the new version of VADV-PHP, so I went back to the one I used before,
that Tim Cornett did a nice job with.
Now, if the chances of thunderstorms each day will ease off for
awhile...I hate having to shut the BBS down at various times during the
day and night, because of the threat. A local user told me that a
neighbor down the street took a lightning hit, and as expected, it fried
everything they had.
Daryl
