Are you sure they do not only clean the virus but leave the HDD encrypted?
F-Prot notices the user that after a cleaning all data on HDD maybe lost!
So formating the disk after clean maybe needed.

Yep, it does so and it may also hit your FAT. But you may not notice it 
slong
as the virus is present. You'll begin to see what was happend after you 
removed
the virus with the wrong AV-program.
