with a piece of cud? ;-)

If there is no human control, theoretically you can use a clyster. Or 
you can teach your dog to blow into the detector. ;)

Probably another thing from the future helps: a blood analyzer will be 
installed inside of an implanted control chip -- the one that all people 
will be obliged to have in their bodies. ;=)
