EV>I think the old 365MC/s CB was called Class A???, IIRC there were four EV>Citizens Band Classes A through D, one of them was for 27.255 Radio EV>Control Model use that was shared with 11M Amateur Radio Operators back EV>then. There are 6 FCC alloted RC channels designated in the 27 Mhz Band. And #6 is the shared with the old CB band 27.255 There is also RC alocations in the 72 and 75 Mhz area. the 72 Mhz allocations are for RC airplanes only and the 75 Mhz band is for RC cars and boats only. I used to go down to the Torrey Pines Cliffs here in San Diego and watch the RC gliders. I also liked to watch the Full sized gliders being winched off form the glider port runway using a chrysler Hemi powered winch but the Hang gliding people have taken over and the full sized gliders not operate out in the Warner Springs area. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 bbs.docsnetservices.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/0 267 280 281 402 640/384 712/0 620 848 770/1 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 712/848 633/280 267 |
