  There was such a kind of singing, in 1960-70. For example, that famous
twist from "Beware of car" that had only "yeah"s
instead of words or almost the same case in "Ventures'"  version
of "Locomotion". Or the main theme in the "Maski-show".
I like that time. I was a child, and my parents had a mono radiola and
there were mostly domestic songs, except of Radmila Karaklaich and Adriano
Chelentano. But all that was just remaking of western music. And 1988-89 I
found "Grandmother's Chest" on BBC and every thursday i was
listening to it. I have even wrote some letters to Sam Jones and got a
badge, a pen and a poster and he has even told about me on the air and
played a song of Paul Anka, somethimg like "When wedding bells will
call". I got a lot about Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Worren Smith,
Billy Lee Raily, Hollies. Elvis wasn't "only the lonely"
rock-n-roll singer at that time.

  BTW, there is a girl in Moscow, named Belilowskaya. So she writes her
name like БелиLOVEская.
