i guess that might make a difference ;)
the ones that i'm familiar with are executable scripts that try to hunt down
all the requirements to build the project... they are generally run via
"./configure"... i don't know how they may be used on non-*nix systems or if
they are even used at all...

i don't know unless maybe there's something missing from your build environment
that is required... TBH, i've never even heard of the program... i use rsync ;)
