IMHO door prizes aren't an egalitarian enterprise. Sometimes one 
goes home with loads of loot; most of the time, one goes home 
empty-handed!

Why is the banquet any different than the rest of the convention?

Well, if the prizes appear to be going to too many of the same 
people, we lynch the person drawing the door prizes. Has a very 
celubrious effect on the random distribution of door prizes!
Just kidding. In actual fact, we don't worry about it. If there 
appear to be problems, we just yell at the person doing the 
drawing to "shake 'er up!". Whether this actually changes things, 
only the God of Chance knows!
