My problem is that I am not using the stock COMMO.MAC; my version has,
over the years, been simplified to the utmost. Couple of login
scripts (that load custom .MAC file) and standard zmodem. I do not
care about any of the other protocols and all the other "goodies" that
are in the stock COMMO.MAC.

I do not need the new zmodem; using the external by OMEN.
