One more reply to your heartfelt message. One concern is that I probably
shouldn't be the one to be looking--as the adoptive parent. Do you think
that if the birth mothers wanted to be found they would search? Other thing,
should it be my children who should be looking? I haven't started the search
other than what you've seen here. I have known of two, only, personally who
searched--one the adoptive mother and the other the child who found the
mother who is a teacher here. It really did a LOT of harm in both cases.
Their lives will never, of course, be what it was. I do feel that my kids
are considerably more secure than both young girls involved. I think, at
this point I'd just like to send a message that the kids are fine and have a
respect for what was done on the part of the birth mother and that they've
had a good life and are an asset to everyone. Thanks again for replying.
