Howdy! Tom, Roy and All Others,

I couldn't find any A.R.R.L. Radio Amateur's Handbook that had info
on DDRR antennas. The latest issue I have is the 1976 Edition.

I looked under DDRR, Directional, Disconnunity and Ring in the Indexes
of all of the A.R.R.L. Handbooks I have -1957 through 1976- and didn't
find any reference for those.

They weren't mentioned in the Indexes of the 1964 A.R.R.L Antenna Book,
nor in the 1962 and 1975 Radio Handbook by William Orr W6SAI.

The 1964 A.R.R.L. Antenna Book and the 1975 Radio Handbook by Orr has
entries for the Log Periodic Antenna in their Indexes.

I didn't realize the conversation was about Mobile or VHF/UHF Antennas.
I was 'thinking' I was reading about HF Antennas until a few days ago
when the Light Finally Came On in my head. DUH!!!!!

I forgot I had talked earlier in this thread about a Folded-Dipole UHF
TV Antenna I made.

The Antennas I've used For Mobile operating:

6M Mobile - The Broadcast Radio's Whip Antenna on the car, or the Halo
            Antenna.

2M Mobile - Larsen 5/8 Wavelength Whip. I've seen Hams use the Coffee
Can Antenna but never had one myself.

HF Mobile - Hustler Center Loaded Whip.

... Got Kleptomania? Take something for it!
