I'm not good as this, but I seem to remember that Com1 and Com3 usually
use the same interrupt string by default (as do Com2 and Com4).  I
believe there is a way of changing this, but I don't know what it is.
You might try posting in the DOS-Tips conference, as the problem isn't
due to the QModem software.
