 Aside from the fact that it's illegal to punish people for
 joining a union, once the economy gets moving again he won't
 have a decent workforce if he fires his union workers, or face a
 more enthusiastic that never reorganization if they don't get
 fired.

 After all, since the american auto makers don't pay that much
 less than Toyota, The idea that the American auto workers are
 the problem is nonsense.
