I couldn't get the DOS version (I think 2.30?) to see the AREAS.DAT
file...should I have forced SILT to make the 2.0 files?

The most annoying thing I've found with Max and QWK is that instead of
using the area tags, it uses a shortened (chopped!) version of the area's
description file.  I've tried to find a way around it with no luck.
