yes

if you do it that way you will not get paths set correctly, because there is
no shell to run under.  Alot of the new inet.d's will not allow you to run
secondary programs as your autheticator, for security reasons.  That is why
I make people log in twice. once as bbs and then it auto starts the bbs.
