Hmm...I'm not sure I agree here. First of all, I'd point out that the
current draft of the C++ standard includes classes for vectors, maps,
etc. Despite them being included with the compiler, you can develop
your own instead.
Unless I'm badly mistaken, the same is basically true in Java as well.
However, I don't use Java much since it's not particularly suited to the
sort of work I do; as such, my comments on details about Java should be
taken lightly.
