Then you need to reread history. There is no time in history
where religion was allowed to be mandatory, where religion was
not corrupted by that fact.
Freedom from religion is necessary. Freedom of religion is not
even possible without freedom from religion.
We require protection against religion as much for the benefit
of the religious as the non-religious.
We protect religion by banning the enforcement of religion.
