Writing echomail in msged while hpt is tossing (same echo) can cause a bad
lastread counter. But this automatically fixed by the next tossing run. I
had a few broken squish database files so far and the best solution was to
simply delete them. The tools for fixing squish files aren't very helpful.

I'd prefer a rock solid database-like daemon instead of the current squish API.
