Actually, I did finish college, too.  In 1984, a year after I retired from the AF.
Got a second BS from another school in 1985 (credits transfer, didn't have to take
many more classes).  Had I not given up on my thesis (only two in my group of 30
finished theirs with the mentor assigned to us by the school; I didn't try again,
dunno if anybody else did) I'd've finished an MS in about 1990.

I think I've figured out why eight of my dogs attacked one of the other two
last month.  She's in heat (after $1,200 of veterinary care to repair the damage)
and I suspect that she snapped at one of the other dogs that was investigating,
and the others came to its defense.  She's the only dog I have that isn't neutered
(although one of the others still has a bit of ovarian tissue in her someplace, just
enough to produce the hormones that cause her to go into heat - no eggs, no uterus
and no puppies possible, but she goes into heat anyway).
