 We just purchased a greenwing macaw from a pet store. A guy sold them the 
bird and the only reason they bought it was he was badly underfed. We do not 
know what the diet was. After a week of a new habitat and food his color is 
starting to come back out and his appetite is amazing. Of course he gets seed 
and food along with vegatables soaked in vitamins and lot of water. Waiting 
on the info from the Vet to come back today. (first vet visit with a big 
bird, that is something ELSE to discuss something, nails, beak, and wings 
clipped)
