Well one machine is running 95. The others are using Windows for Workgroups 
3.11.

I tried that just before I got your message. Even though the interrupts were 
set correctly (I know this because the parallel ports are on a fancy card 
where you can pick almost any IRQ you like using jumpers) and there are no 
conflicts disabling interrupts for the inkjet port has made it a /lot/ 
faster. It's great now. I don't know why because I always thought turning 
interrupts off reduced performance..
