BA> I don't think it makes any difference. I use white. Some ciders have a higher acidic value. Rice vinegar is milder than say Apple. I am asking because my Cosmo has an ulcer (under control) and very sensitive to any food changes. Digestion problems are common with shih Tzu. They are said to have a very short digestive track compared to larager breeds so do not digest foods such as complex carbs well.. What puzzles me about him is he can't eat real meat. It's dry dog food, no corn, no beef/chicken byproducts, no wheat... He can eat the Natures REcipe dog food fine. We started him on it five years ago. Before that he ate Eukabanuka which had been recommended by the breeder (whom Now I realize probally gets paid to promote that stuff... or rather gets big discounts being a breeder and all.) That is: she didn't recommend it because it was good for the dog, she recommended it because it was good for her wallet. ((Note: next time somebody says : it's good ! Ask for whom.)) Back to 'real meat'. Maybe it's something in the meat? All the additives they put in? Even a tiny bit of steak will upset his stomach. He's a good little guy though. He's 11 now. Perky little swetie... I'm not sure adding vineagar would be good forhim tho.. he's on a daily anti acid pill (half of one)- this recommended by our vet in keller, TX... (who isn't 'owned' by the drug companies btw.. he could have recommended an expensive pill made just for dogs but he didn't.. this medicine is O.C and made fro humans. After a few months on that pill he was doing so well! We thought maybe he doesn't need it anymore. So during the time we were moving we gave him one every other day... then skipped a day (we were in the car all day)... he was fine. When we got to FL he was fine .. but I think the change in the water is what upset his tummy so back on the little pink half a pill again into a bit of cheese... c --- PPoint 3.01* Origin: Up a palm tree (1:124/6308.20) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 53/558 106/1 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 124/6308 5025 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
