My Buddy is a lap dog.  Or wants to be, anyway.  He's a black lab mix and standing on
his back legs (which he does very rarely due to hip dysplasia) Buddy can put his head
above the top of a four foot chain link fence, and he weighs about 120
pounds.  Standing
on four legs his back is almost the same level as my hips.  I've had Buddy
a bit over a
year, now.  He's bigger than all of the other eight lab mixes I have, but
he isn't part of
the 'pack' yet and may never be because the others are all blood relatives
(father and
7 litter mate pups, the smallest of which weighs about 60 pounds).
