I don't blame Bush for all of them.

Don't forget that "Al-Qaeda" can also be like the Klan here in
the US. The different groups may have some beliefs in common, but in
reality, they also can't stand each other, and in the case of Al-Qaeda,
would no doubt be trying to slaughter each other.

Just look at Iraq itself.
Most of the violence there has nothing to do with Al-Qaeda. It's Sunnis
ethnically cleansing Shias, and vice versa.

Also jockeying for power, and corruption and crime. Al-Qaeda is still a
very small group, in Iraq.

The roots of Al-Qaeda go back decades, to Carter, Ford, and Nixon.
