Paul, at 18:30 on May 12 1995, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> It would be interesting to see just how many people actually use BG> their mouse in Msged. And I'll bet very few of those people would have complained if mouse functions had been removed completely. It doesn't do very much, you know. Which you can for two of them anyway! Which means that it's nothing to do with Alt-n keystrokes at all. That's what the F1 or Alt-H keystroke is for. BG> "All decisions by the management are final, and no correspondence BG> will be entered into". Sound familiar? PE> Not really, just final if you want me to do the work, and not PE> final at all if you want to change the source yourself! :-) I likely would if I could bloody well read it! BG> Oh, and while I'm at it, can the colour file easily be made to accept BG> numeric values, rather than the long-winded alpha colour descriptions (or BG> even a combination of both, left up to the user)? PE> I don't think people change the colours so often that they can PE> remember the numeric short-hand anyway. Not a matter of remembering the numerics, more a matter of not having to type bloody great long alpha descriptions when changing colours. A simple reference chart in the colour file would be sufficient (just like there already is now for the apha descriptions). PE> Not worth it, IMO. It is when you're trying to configure a totally different colour scheme, although the defaults (no colour file at all) are fairly good anyway.
