Thanks so much, Julie. I've tried at the Children's Home society of
Missouri, and that state just will not cooperate. My son asked them once and
he got exactly the same information I got before I laid eyes on him. That's
the only time he asked for information. Of course I'd told them both all I
knew and gave them the adoption papers. There was a name on my son's, but it
may and may not be the correct one. I think it is, however. There wasn't an
attorney in my cases, as I recall. I could try my daughter's in Los Angeles.
I was touched by your message and felt that the birth mothers would want
some reassurance--if nothing else. The kids are so good and have always
(most of the time) been a great pleasure and of course, they are very good
looking. My grandkids are adorable and the pleasure/treasure of my life
(along with their parents). Again, thankyou so very much for your reply.
