I may try it.  Anything to augment the flea protection here is worthwhile!

Meantime my 2 neighbors dogs are covered with fleas.  In the interests of self
 protection the one neighbor is ok with us spraying his yard too as long as
we dont hit the pool.  Sensible.  They are newcommers to this area and first
summer.  They cant believe how bad they get here.

Cant spray the other yard.  One of their kids has all sorts of allergies. 
(This one doesnt come over to our house).  They can use drops and started
them after bathing the dog in 'head-n-shoulders' (kills living fleas really
well but doesnt kill eggs or keep fleas away).
