I have an English budgie that talks. Ever since I found another
budgie on our front lawn, the EB has stopped talking human language,
for the most part, although sometimes when he's jabbering in his sleep
I can pick out a few words.
He'd say You gonna bite me? , I'm a big boy, What're you doin?.
You're a stinker, Come 'ere. He'd laugh when I laughed, and every
single night after I'd turn the lights out, he'd 'cough'. When I say
'you want a bath?', he'll ruffle his feathers and shake. Another
budgie I had would fly directly to the sink and wait for me to turn
the water on if I asked him if he wanted a bath. :)
They can be very sociable, active, entertaining, lovable birds.
