Sorry about disappearing like that for the last week (did you happen to
notice? :), but we had a hailstorm that damaged the cars and house, and
I've been dealing with it, along with my aunt being in the hospital for a
couple of days with the result that we needed to let some family members
spend a couple of nights here (and we really don't have the house set up
for a "normal" family, so that meant pallets on the floor of the computer
room and the TV room! I wouldn't have minded their staying in our room,
but my husband didn't like that idea, and so, what can you do. They all
survived it. My pantry . . . the same thing cannot be said about my pantry
and my kitchen. I'm still scraping stuff off the Geo. Foreman
grill. Eek!) Man, the weird things people cook for breakfast.

I'm thinking of you, Fangy - - isn't there some other class you can
take? There has to be a supervisor you can talk to. I got dumped off my
unemployment bennies for a similar reason several years ago, and they sent
me to a "how to get a job" seminar that got us another couple weeks' worth
before I had to give it up and become a bum. The voice of reason
has to be there, somewhere. Good thinkings from here.

Also keeping mobile appendages crossed for Teddy's house. Wow! What an
opportunity. After buying two houses (not at the same time. .. but I did
end up paying on both of them for some time, long story, 'cause Mama lived
in one and we lived in the other!), I know how tough they are as far as
qualifying you for a loan. The first house we assumed the note, but then
when we refinanced it later and then bought THIS house we're in now and
refinanced it once. . . ouch, we had to lay out some serious cash every
time. To get in on a no downpayment plan would be SO tres cool. Keeping
the vibes rolling from here!

I hate to chime in here **again** with a personal request, but my aunt has
asked me to ask my online friends to pray for her or send her some good
thoughts. She's had some heart problems in the past (including valve
replacement surgery and a pacemaker placement), and now the doctor tells
her that her heart is growing progressively weaker. He's put her on a new
medication that may help, at least for a while. She asked me to ask for
prayers, because last time it really helped my mom (when she had that colon
test that came back okay) and my husband (his shoulder surgery went very
well). So that's why I'm asking . . . sorry to be imposing, but the power
of prayer is awesome. (And good thoughts, or whatever form you use to
contact the creator and energy source of the universe.) Thanks in advance!

Mama's yelling from the other end of the house, something about my washer
walking across the utility room. I asked her not to load those towels with
that blanket--it makes the washer get off balance!! back soon, if the
washer doesn't run away from home!
