IRAN REVEALS NUCLEAR INTENTIONS ARE TO "ACHIEVE" PEACE

WASH-MNA-Oct 5-After a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad in
Damascus, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ghulam Ali Haddad-
Adel revealed Iran's intent to use nuclear energy to "achieve" peace.
Was this an apparent "slip of the tongue" or a coded message of truth
to the world?

Certainly, the United States and Israel believe Iran's intent is to
develop nuclear weapons and use them to spread its brand of radical

Islamic theocracy to the rest of the world. The United Nations,
Russia, China, Syria and other states seem to not understand this
basic strategy or have vested interests in it, but Haddad-Adel's 
words are powerfully revealing in terms of prophecy and Islam.

Haddad-Adel sent a very clear diplomatic message that was coded in
language of peace and of war in the very same sentence. He said, "Our
goal is to establish trust with world and express our true intentions
to utilize our nuclear energy to achieve peace; we in Iran will never
yield to the arrogance of our enemies." Key are the words, "utilize
our nuclear energy to achieve peace." The message is only decoded if 
one knows the Islamic theology-Peace comes as the infidel's submit to
Islam and it appears Iran intends to use nuclear energy to "achieve"
this submission. In the same breath, Israel, as the main enemy of
Iran, is the target.

The more Iranian leaders talk, the more they confirm the prophecies 
of the Bible. Damascus, the capitol of Syria, is prophesied to be
destroyed in the latter days by Isaiah when he said, "Behold, Damascus
is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Additionally, Iran, which is today the heart of Persia, is prophesied
to join Russia, Libya, Ethiopia, possibly parts of China and other
nations in a great battle against Israel where, as Ezekiel 39:9 says,
the weapons will burn with fire "seven years." These prophecies would
have seemed impossible in our lifetime if not for the activity in just
the past 18 months that bring them into focus as very real
possibilities.

Haddad-Adel also told the Arab press that the U.S. "plot" to isolate
Syria and Iran has failed as "no one will be able to come between
Tehran and Damascus." Syria and Iran earlier this year signed a mutual
protection agreement and the two countries have had close political
ties dating as far back as 1,200 years. It is no coincidence that Iran
and Syria are holding high level discussions as the United States has
launched a major offensive along the Syrian border against terrorists
crossing from Syria into Iraq. Iraq is a gemstone in Iran's plan to
unite the Arab world against Israel in a military effort.

That these very interesting words from Damascus parallel prophecy
should be of no surprise. Yet, most of the world just sees them as
rhetoric from a crazy, rogue regime. As Jesus said in Matthew 24:38,
39, "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah
entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them
all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." These are
prophetic times and the warnings are all around us. These events have
not occurred before and they are foretold in the Holy Scriptures. As
the Lord said in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it
shall spring forth; shall you not know it?"
