Well, spoze your life is a work of art, like a very long movie?
Well maybe not long enough to suit you, but... nevertheless, I do
not think you want to judge it by the popularity of the masses,
who we know to be gullible fools, but rather, something that might
be pleasing to an experienced, mature, audience. I spoze God may
be such a conneiseur, what kind of review would he write?
Job & Oedipus come to mind. The former was restored to his place
as if rewarded, the latter died homeless. The former was to be a
lesson in faith, the latter a lesson in nobility. The former lost
all that he had, was given everything but his family back, and he
was spozed to be grateful; God sounds like a district judge, who
could have taken you for every thing you had, and wants you to be
grateful he only took half. Yeah. thanks.
Oedipus lost it all because he wanted to keep his integrity. He
did, and it was worth it. Makes for a damn good movie.
